Description/Condition:
For better display we attached our Signal to "shiny" standoff. Signal was exposed to salty ocean air and water of TriState Area for many year. This Searchlight has a beautiful patina and surface rust.

This SearchLight was made in United States in mid 1930th.

Owner told us that searchlight was installed on 12 mile of New York Central Railway (12 mile from whats now is Grand Central Terminal/Station). Since then railroad was renamed. Modern name of those railway is: Metro-North Railway Harlem line. Our signal was installed and served many year near whats now is NY city Bronx boro.

This Signal was purchased in the coastal town of Rye, NY.
Rye, NY is situated on the coast of Long Island Sound 40 miles north of New York City. This town has roots dating back to 1667 and in its past was a farming village that sold its grain/crops to New York City via the Milton Harbor and railroad.
