Wow Blue? Cambridge Carnival Glass Inverted Strawberry Tumbler Old Contemporary?
The story of where this piece of Carnival Glass came from is very interesting. A farmhouse full of Carnival Glass, over 1200 pieces was brought to market by one of the premier Carnival Glass auctioneers. When he went to pick up the glass collection, he was astounded by how many pieces were in the house and that most were covered in so much dust and dirt he could not tell what patterns they were. He cleaned and cataloged 1100 pieces and brought them to market. Most may have been in the collection for over 50 years. It is my pleasure to bring you a piece from this collection. I acquired over 135 pieces of the collection and will be listing them. Many are whimseys and some have outstanding color.
There has been much debate if this in contemporary or vintage. I do not know so you be the judge and I am selling as listed. The color is great on this one. The tumbler is signed near cut. It is in good condition with no cracks or chips, see photos. It measures 3 1/4 inches in diameter at the top,  2 1/2 inches at the bottom, and 3 7/8 inches tall. See photos.
