Bring pure, natural sound to your home theater with this pair of walnut Klipsch Reference Premiere RP-600M 2-Way Bookshelf Speakers. Featuring a two-way speaker design, each RP-600M incorporates a 1" titanium LTS vented tweeter paired with a hybrid Tractrix horn and a spun copper 6.5" Cerametallic woofer. The RP-600M delivers a frequency response of 45 Hz to 25 kHz and can handle up to 100W of continuous power from your amplifier of choice.
90 x 90° Silicone Composite Hybrid Tractrix Horn
Horn loading helps to maximize efficiency and enhance detail while focusing high frequencies toward the listening area. Tractrix geometry further provides for efficient transfer of high-frequency waves into the listening area. The phase plug and compressed molded silicone face are designed to ensure a smooth frequency response.
Linear Travel Suspension (LTS) Titanium Diaphragm Tweeter
The speakers' design includes Linear Travel Suspension (LTS) tweeters, which help to minimize distortion for enhanced performance.
Vented Tweeter Design
The vented tweeter housing helps reduce standing waves that create unwanted harmonics, further augmenting detail and clarity in high frequency reproduction.
Spun Copper Cerametallic Woofer
The RP-600M's Cerametallic woofers are designed to be light and rigid to help provide minimal distortion and maximum efficiency. The cones are mated to a dual-layer, copper-wound voice coil for enhanced conductivity and are housed in a non-resonating, stamped-steel basket for augmented efficiency and low distortion.
Tractrix Port
Utilizing Tractrix geometry, the Reference Premiere port is engineered with inner flares to allow for efficient, fast air transfer from the cabinet to help reduce port noise for punchy low frequencies.
Bi-Wiring / Bi-Amping Capability
The RP-600M is equipped with dual input terminals for bi-wiring / bi-amping capabilities. Bi-wiring separates high- and low-frequency current into separate speaker cables, reducing intermodulation distortion for a clearer midrange. Bi-amping allows for customization using outboard crossovers when using separate amplifiers. The RP-600M's 5-way screw terminals accept banana plugs or bare wire up to 12-gauge for a flexible, lasting connection. To facilitate setup, the terminals are color coded.
Furniture-Grade Material and Finish
The walnut RP-600M speakers feature satin-painted baffles with a scratch resistant finish.
Flexible, Removable Grille
The speaker's flexible magnetic grille is designed for easy placement and removal.
