Cosmetic Condition
The scanner is in fairly good cosmetic condition. It has scuff marks, scratches, and general wear from use. It could use some thorough cleaning.
Please see the photos for more detail.
Does not include cables or accessories other than what is shown in the photos.
Testing
We tested the scanner by plugging it in, connecting it via USB to a workstation, and scanning documents using the ARTS2 software (found on the Graphtec website). The scanner seemed to have no issues loading paper and scanning. The paper guides move smoothly. The reverse and forward button work properly.
While the test scans were legible and clear, the scanner appears to be creating lines on the image. We noticed that documents fed through would end up with lines on them, facing the feed direction. The scanner seems perfectly functional, but likely needs a thorough cleaning. We did not attempt this as we are not very familiar with these scanners and do not want to risk damaging the imaging components.
This is the full extent of the testing performed. We do not have the equipment or expertise necessary to fully test this device. As such, it is being sold as-is. We can only guarantee that the condition is exactly as described.
